Four new titles have been added to this entertaining series that introduces young readers to the physical properties of different materials. Each book introduces a pair of contrasting physical properties. Readers are encouraged to use their senses and simple tests to identify, describe, and compare the properties of materials. Readers will discover that materials are used for different purposes based on their physical properties. This series supports the Next Generation Science Standards: Structure and Properties of Matter.
